Rolling 1-10 with 2d6

Here's How to roll the result 1-10 with 2d6 (two regular dice, cubic dice, or six-sided dice).

 Result Roll Probability
1 5,6 2/36
2 1,1 or 6,6 2/36
3 1,2 2/36
4 1,3 or 2,2 3/36
5 1,4 or 2,3 4/36
6 1,5 or 2,4 or 3,3 5/36
7 1,6 or 2,5 or 3,4 6/36
8 2,6 or 3,5 or 4,4 5/36
9 3,6 or 4,5 4/36
10 4,6 or 5,5 3/36

In this method of rolling, 7 becomes the mode, and the average is 6+1/6, and standard deviation of SQ-RT(45/7)=~2.535. This method is better than a simple d10 for wargamers so it is the preferred way when d10 are not available.
